Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing & Validation: Accurately enter and reconcile trade, transfer, and dividend transactions for alternative investment accounts, ensuring alignment between arenaflex’s internal records and external fund administrators.
  • Break Identification & Resolution: Detect, investigate, and resolve discrepancies (breaks) between arenaflex and fund companies, transfer agents, or other external partners, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
  • Corporate Actions Management: Process corporate activity events—including mergers, spin‑offs, rights offerings, and dividend distributions—while adhering to regulatory guidelines such as Rule 2340 and Rule 15c3‑3.
  • Research & Escalation Handling: Conduct thorough research on complex or escalated issues, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver timely resolutions.
  • Technology Testing & Validation: Participate in testing new system enhancements, vendor updates, and automation tools, providing feedback that drives continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Review and interpret tax codes, ensuring accurate tax treatment of transactions and correcting any coding errors that could affect client tax reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for retail and institutional service teams via email, phone, and arenaflex collaboration tools, delivering clear and concise updates on transaction status.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of all activities, produce regular reconciliation reports, and support audit inquiries with well‑organized documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality, contributing to arenaflex’s culture of operational excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in data entry, trade reconciliation, or corporate actions within a financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment products (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, real assets) and associated transaction types.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory frameworks, particularly Rule 2340 and Rule 15c3‑3, and the ability to apply them in daily operations.
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard platforms for trade entry and reconciliation; experience with arenaflex‑style systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven track record of delivering error‑free work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of diagnosing complex discrepancies and proposing effective solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both internal and external audiences.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining high levels of productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CIMA.
