Label Set Up Technician

Additional Information Shift: 5pm-5am or 5am-5pm 4 days on/4 days off Pay Rate: $19.71/hr. plus .50 shift differential City, State: Plant City, FL While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture. What You’ll Be Doing: 1) Check on Job status on presses: Ink, paper, plates, dies, boxes (need 150 made at end of shift), acetate, and cores 2) Demount and put away all jobs that are finished 3) Open pallets of stock for Pressman 4) Move pallets to staging area when jobs are finished 5) Keep up with compactor and compactor area cleaned 6) Move blue bins when full 7) Keep press area clean, trash, pallets, plastic, etc. 8) Check plates and dies, if cut put in plate room to remake, do not throw cut ones out 9) Help Pressman with change overs 10) Maintain a safe, clean... and organized work area We’d love to hear from you if: You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring Arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record An individual looking to advance with a high school diploma or GED Work schedules are subject to change- The operation is 24/7.
