AI Engineer

Crew is a company that helps clients deliver change through IT project delivery and operational efficiency efforts. They are seeking an AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI applications, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to software planning and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Use Python (Django), Azure, and GitHub Actions to develop and deploy AI applications supporting business use cases
  • Utilize 3rd party platforms such as MS Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Automate to build automated workflows
  • Contribute to software planning, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews for high quality code releases
  • Meet with business stakeholders to establish technical requirements and software deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions
  • Document system design, architecture, and deployment processes

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in developing AI applications
  • Experience with Python and web development
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Exposure to large language models (LLMs) and RAG concepts
  • Understanding of Git, SQL, and CI/CD fundamentals
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experience building or experimenting with RAG architectures and LLM API calls
  • Familiarity with the following Azure services: OpenAI, Blob Storage, App Service, and SQL Database
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and web app deployment
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and system integration patterns
  • Keen on learning Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and other AI/Automation platforms
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, modular design, code quality)
  • Interest in financial services, actuarial work, or insurance domain
