Role Overview – Senior Data Entry & Voice‑of‑Customer Analyst

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Entry & Voice‑of‑Customer (VoC) Analyst to join our Customer Listening Team. This role is a unique blend of data engineering, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration, focused on designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines that power our VoC platform. You will work closely with product owners, technology partners, and business leaders to translate complex survey data into reliable, real‑time insights that inform product strategy, operational improvements, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to capture Voice‑of‑Customer data from the arenaflex Survey Platform.
• Data Modeling & Architecture: Build scalable data models and schema designs that support both batch and real‑time analytics, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and performance across the arenaflex data lake.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with product managers, business analysts, and technology teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver data solutions that meet strategic objectives.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and data profiling to guarantee the integrity of VoC data, implementing automated testing frameworks where possible.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, optimize query performance, and implement best practices for large‑scale data processing to improve turnaround times for analytics and reporting.
• Automation & Tooling: Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, PySpark) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.
• Reporting & Insight Delivery: Enable self‑service analytics by creating curated data sets, dashboards, and visualizations that empower business users to explore VoC insights independently.
• Agile Delivery: Participate in Scrum ceremonies, deliver incremental improvements in two‑week sprints, and continuously refine the product backlog in collaboration with the arenaflex Agile team.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies (Hive, Spark, HDFS, MapReduce) and Python/PySpark for large‑scale data processing.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing end‑to‑end data pipelines in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
• Experience with survey data, voice‑of‑customer analytics, or similar unstructured data sources is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
