Remote School Social Worker
Role Overview Well Minded Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote School Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Orange, California. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students exhibiting emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Provide counseling services to students and families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to create effective support systems.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops to address common issues faced by students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices in social work and educational regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Proven experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and resources available for youth.
