[Remote] Senior Revenue Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to lead revenue recognition, manage close activities related to revenue, and support external audits while driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including contract review, performance obligation identification, and transaction price allocation
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue
- Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses with supporting documentation
- Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to revenue-related inquiries
- Maintain and improve revenue policies, procedures, and internal controls in
- Drive process automation and scalability initiatives
- Assist in NetSuite implementation
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or SaaS experience preferred)
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups) and experience supporting process improvements
- Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
- Initiative to streamline processes and contribute to the team's efficiency
- Public accounting or SaaS experience preferred
- NetSuite implementation experience is a plus
