[Remote] Quality Initiative Program Analyst

The Quality Initiative Program Analyst provides quantitative insights to oncology practices to improve patient care and outcomes through data validation and collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, testing, and maintenance of Quality Measure (QM) dashboards to ensure accuracy and usability
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with internal teams to validate dashboard functionality
- Build and maintain dashboard bookmarks, filters, and configurations that enhance QI project reporting
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between analytics outputs and dashboard visualizations to maintain data consistency
- Develop and maintain data quality audit files for assigned projects, partnering with the Curation team to investigate and resolve issues
- Generate and manage patient lists used for data curation activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Review and update curated patient lists to reflect completed and abandoned cases, identifying patients eligible for inclusion
- Conduct data investigations to address discrepancies identified by team members and prepare regular progress summaries or audit reports
- Maintain a centralized library of analytics questions, methodologies, and reusable templates across projects
- Provide guidance on constructing QI analyses, interpreting results, and applying best practices for data visualization
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support senior QI Managers and project teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights
- Develop and refine analytic templates and dashboards for recurring reporting needs
- Deliver data-driven insights in response to practice and internal stakeholder queries
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop self-service data interrogation tools that empower practices to explore their data
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively, supporting the translation of analytics into actionable recommendations
- Support the development of publications, abstracts, and presentations that highlight the impact of quality initiatives
- Contribute to the documentation and communication of analytic results for internal and external audiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Health Informatics, Public Health, or similar)
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, data quality, or clinical data management; oncology experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health care record data
- Proficiency with data query languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Masters Degree preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
