[Remote] Senior Actuarial Analyst | Senior Actuary - Property & Casualty (P&C)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MDAEdge is a company focused on actuarial solutions in the Property & Casualty sector. They are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to research and analyze data for actuarial and product line management, develop rate adjustment proposals, and support state insurance department filings.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze data to produce rate adjustment proposals, reserve estimates, or economic capital models
- Provide actuarial support for filings with state insurance departments
- Implement new rates and rating plans, utilizing existing procedures and recommending improvements where appropriate
- Analyze data to develop and propose strategic solutions for actuarial or product line management
- Conduct data research and analysis for special, defined-scope projects
- Serve as the Property/Casualty Actuarial representative on assigned project committees
- Actively pursue a Casualty Actuarial Society designation (at least through the ACAS level) and maintain appropriate Continuing Education credits to preserve actuarial credentials
Skills
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training
- Experience in the Property/Casualty Insurance industry is required
- Most senior-level candidates/incumbents have completed the coursework to attain their ACAS credential and are currently working towards fulfilling their FCAS requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior Auto and Home pricing experience, though applicants with other property/casualty backgrounds will be fully considered
