Position Overview: As a Remote Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in need. Through virtual platforms, you'll assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders. Your expertise will help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals. Responsibilities: • Conduct virtual assessments to identify speech and language disorders • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress • Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and technology • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions Qualifications: • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a remote setting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team • Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy sessions (tech screening will be administered) If you are interested, email resume/references to [email protected] or call Samiya Steers directly at (470)-299-1188 to discuss this position further.
