[Remote] Release Train Engineer (RTE/Cloud Platform)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a Cloud Platform Agile Release Train within a highly regulated environment. This role involves partnering with various teams to drive planning, execution, and delivery across multiple Agile teams while following SAFe Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, and Inspect & Adapt events
- Coordinate planning and execution across multiple Agile teams supporting cloud platform initiatives
- Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, and impediments to ensure aligned delivery
- Provide visibility into ART performance through metrics, milestone tracking, and forecasting
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Systems Engineering, and Engineering Leadership to support feature readiness and planning
- Drive issue resolution and escalation across teams and stakeholders
- Support Agile teams that may not have dedicated Scrum Master coverage
- Collaborate with adjacent platform and product teams to align integration efforts and delivery plans
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program/project management, or related roles
- 3+ years of experience in a scaled Agile role (RTE, Sr. Scrum Master, Agile Program Manager, etc.)
- Experience as an RTE, Senior Scrum Master, Agile Program Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong experience within SAFe Agile environments, including PI Planning and ART execution
- Proven ability to support large-scale Agile programs with multiple Scrum teams
- Experience managing dependencies, integrations, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Background supporting cloud-based platforms and distributed engineering teams
- Experience working in regulated environments (medical device, healthcare, or similar preferred)
- Strong facilitation, organization, and communication skills
