The Technical Program Manager will oversee software development project management, ensuring alignment and communication across various teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide software development project management + cross-functional coordination and communication to deliver outstanding products. This includes understanding product and business requirements driving the engineering programs
  • Manage and track engineering project delivery schedules and ensure they align with cross-functional upstream and downstream dependencies (Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, PM, etc) and correlate to end-to-end delivery commitments
  • Identify gaps and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, follow-through until resolution
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive effective and consistent processes in engineering organization, working with engineering leadership

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a TPM in a high-tech organization
  • Strong track record of facilitating enterprise level projects
  • Experience working directly with software engineering teams delivering software products to production
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Experience in building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Project management skills to ensure the proper solution is delivered to customers
  • Experience understanding and working with technical teams to build scope, schedule, resourcing, and quality/verification steps
  • Mechanisms for risk and critical path management
  • Experience communicating with external partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative and own projects from start to finish
  • Ability to build positive relationships based on trust and value delivered
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong process, project management and decision-making/facilitating skills
  • Critical thinker who can be strategic without losing attention to detail
