Position Overview

This full‑time (40 hours/week) Remote Customer Service Representative role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced, patient‑focused environments. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providers, pharmacies, and specialty offices, delivering compassionate assistance, accurate scheduling, and seamless navigation of electronic health record (EHR) systems. The role offers a structured 12‑week training program, a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 – $28.27, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer 60–75 inbound calls daily from patients, healthcare providers, specialty offices, and pharmacies, providing courteous and accurate information.
  • Schedule a variety of appointments, including office visits, annual wellness exams, and specialty consultations for internal medicine and family practice clinics.
  • Process medication refill requests, referrals, and secure messages on behalf of patients and providers, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Navigate multiple EHR platforms efficiently, entering new patient demographics, insurance details, and updating existing records.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and ROI protocols, safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Register new patients, verify insurance eligibility, and capture accurate demographic data.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings—either virtually or in person—to share insights, discuss performance metrics, and align with team goals.
  • Attend quarterly on‑site training sessions that reinforce best practices, new system updates, and professional development topics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and share feedback with supervisors to enhance overall service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑service‑oriented role that required frequent phone and computer usage.
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications and the ability to quickly learn complex software systems.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues independently.
  • Willingness and ability to complete the 12‑week on‑site training program in Golden, CO.
  • Flexibility to work any 8‑hour shift within standard business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday), with occasional overtime as business needs dictate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of prior experience in a healthcare setting, such as a medical office, clinic, or hospital.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical workflows.
  • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) or practice management software.

Telecommuting Requirements

  • Residence must be within a 30‑mile radius of the arenaflex Golden office (1707 Cole Blvd, Suite 100).
  • Dedicated, private workspace separate from household traffic to ensure confidentiality and focus.
