Why This Role Matters

At arenaflex, the Data Entry & Manufacturing Engineering team is the backbone of our hardware ecosystem. The data you capture, validate, and manage directly influences how we design, assemble, and scale the servers that power everything from search engines to AI platforms. This role is a unique blend of meticulous data entry, product lifecycle management, and hands‑on manufacturing engineering—perfect for candidates who thrive on detail, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to see the tangible impact of their work on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement flexible manufacturing processes: Create, refine, and oversee production workflows for high‑volume server components, ensuring cost‑effectiveness, quality, and scalability.
  • Collaborate across functional teams: Work closely with Product Management, Design, and Operations groups to identify potential manufacturing challenges early in the product development cycle.
  • Analyze and interpret complex engineering data: Translate technical specifications, test results, and design documents into actionable manufacturing strategies.
  • Lead supplier evaluation and improvement initiatives: Assess current suppliers, drive performance enhancements, and develop future‑capacity roadmaps.
  • Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) tools: Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), maintain Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Requests (ECR).
  • Drive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities: Coordinate PLM processes, update BOM structures, and ensure seamless handoffs between design, manufacturing, and field deployment.
  • Support high‑voltage server farm projects: Contribute to civil and electrical design efforts for new data center builds, focusing on safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time: Visit supplier sites, data center locations, and internal labs to validate processes, conduct audits, and provide on‑site technical guidance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in assembly, quality, reliability, or product design roles, with a proven track record of delivering high‑volume hardware.
  • At least 6 years of hands‑on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and processes.
  • Five years of experience planning and executing high‑voltage infrastructure projects for server farms or similar facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize manufacturing processes that improve cost, quality, and throughput.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading yield improvement and cycle‑time reduction initiatives for complex, high‑volume parts.
  • Strong background in Lean manufacturing, 5S, and 8D problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with server farm power distribution and high‑voltage charging systems.
  • Proficiency in influencing electrical design and assembly processes to meet aggressive performance targets.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of hardware design, assembly line automation, and data‑center electrical systems.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect large data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable engineering decisions.
  • Project Leadership: Proven capability to lead multidisciplinary projects from concept through production, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Communication: Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes, presenting findings, and influencing cross‑functional teams.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in a remote environment while maintaining strong relationships with on‑site teams, suppliers, and senior leadership.
