Position Overview – Remote Data Entry Associate
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Remote Data Entry Associate to join our dynamic healthcare claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting incoming paper and electronic claim forms into a standardized digital format, ensuring the highest level of data integrity and speed. You will work from the comfort of your home, adhering to one of three flexible shift windows (6 am – 2 pm CST, 11 am – 7 pm CST, or 2 pm – 10 pm CST). This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Core Data Processing Tasks
- Capture, validate, and accurately input complex healthcare claim information into arenaflex‑provided digital templates.
- Classify and index scanned images of claim documents to support downstream analytics and audit trails.
- Pre‑adjudicate claim data, identify discrepancies, and correct errors in accordance with established guidelines.
- Verify data extracted by automated OCR tools, performing manual quality checks to maintain a sub‑1 % error rate.
- Utilize multiple source documents—including physician notes, billing statements, and ancillary reports—to corroborate claim details.
- Maintain consistent keystroke productivity targets: ≥ 4,000 numeric keystrokes per hour (KSPH) and ≥ 2,500 alphanumeric KSPH, while preserving accuracy.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work within documented procedures and best practices, escalating exceptions to senior team members when necessary.
- Operate under close supervision during onboarding, transitioning to greater autonomy as proficiency increases.
- Adhere to HIPAA, GDPR, and arenaflex security protocols, ensuring confidential patient and provider information remains protected.
- Participate in regular performance reviews, peer‑training sessions, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM with a high level of accuracy; proficiency with a 10‑key numeric keypad is required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a ≤ 1 % error rate while meeting or exceeding keystroke productivity standards.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite, web‑based research tools, and VPN connectivity.
