Performance Architect Location: Remote (U.S.) / Travel onsite to dealerships is required. Schedule: Standard business hours, aligned to assigned dealership accounts and time zones. The Role We’re looking for a Performance Architect to join our team and serve as a strategic, consultative partner to the dealerships we serve. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to dealership leadership, connecting Numa’s platform to each customer’s core business goals and translating performance data into measurable outcomes, retention, and expansion. This role sits at the intersection of multiple teams—including Customer Success, Product, and Sales—and acts as a key “connector” between the dealership and Numa. Success in this role requires someone who deeply understands dealership operations, can lead executive-level conversations with credibility, and can tie a software platform to operational KPIs and business priorities. The ideal candidate is a former General Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or similar dealership leader who knows what it takes to run a profitable, high-performing service department. You take initiative, build trust quickly, and are comfortable owning executive relationships and driving forward-looking action plans without heavy direction. What You’ll Do Build strategic partnerships with dealership GMs and leadership teams, earning trust through insight, credibility, and results Tie Numa’s platform to business goals such as profit, team productivity, and customer satisfaction (CSI) Lead executive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that align teams and create forward-looking action plans Deliver dealership-specific performance insights that are actionable, impactful, and aligned with local priorities Create and manage 90-day engagement plans that drive measurable outcomes Guide strategic reviews and tailor action plans based on real-time performance metrics and dealership priorities Elevate Numa from a vendor to a strategic partner that leadership relies on for results Partner cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales to shape tools, playbooks, and best practices that elevate client success Travel onsite to dealerships as needed to deepen relationships and drive engagement What You Bring Deep experience in automotive, including time on both the dealer and vendor side Experience as a former General Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or similar leadership role within a dealership Proven ability to run and grow a service department, including driving profitability and customer satisfaction Confidence working with executive stakeholders and leading data-driven performance conversations Strong ability to connect software solutions to operational KPIs and business goals Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, taking ownership of relationships and outcomes end-to-end and proactively driving results with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align both frontline and executive audiences Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and measurable business impact Nice To Have Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, with comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and service operations workflows Experience with data analysis, performance reporting, or business intelligence tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI Familiarity with AI tools and effective prompt engineering for research, analysis, or workflow optimization What Success Looks Like Drive measurable improvements in dealership performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction (CSI) Build trusted, executive-level relationships with dealership GMs and leadership teams Lead high-impact QBRs and 90-day engagement plans that translate into retention and expansion Consistently demonstrate a proactive, self-directed approach to identifying and solving business problems Position Numa as an indispensable strategic partner rather than a vendor Why Join Numa We believe in everyone’s growth. Compensation
