Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Member Service: Respond to inbound calls, messages, and inquiries from current and prospective insurance members in both Spanish and English, providing accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information that empowers members to fully utilize and maximize their benefits.
  • Build Rapport and Trust: Develop and maintain collaborative, professional relationships with members, patients, customers, and providers in accordance with all compliance guidelines and regulatory standards established by the insurance institution.
  • Increase Customer Satisfaction and Retention: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the member experience, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure that every interaction reflects the highest standards of service quality and professionalism.
  • Educate and Inform: Clearly explain insurance coverage, benefits, claims processes, billing inquiries, and policy details to members in a way that is easy to understand—regardless of the complexity of the subject matter.
  • Document and Track Interactions: Accurately record all member interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the appropriate systems and databases, ensuring that all information is captured for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Navigate Multiple Systems: Efficiently use various software platforms, CRM tools, and internal databases to retrieve member information, process requests, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, company policies, and insurance industry guidelines to protect member privacy and ensure legal and regulatory compliance in every interaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to stay current on product updates, system enhancements, and best practices in customer service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bilingual Fluency: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing). Candidates will be required to pass a bilingual assessment as part of the hiring process.
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in a professional setting, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Call Center Background: Prior call center experience is required, with healthcare or insurance industry experience being highly preferred.
  • Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A combination of relevant education and work experience may also be considered.
  • Typing Proficiency: Minimum typing speed of 30+ words per minute (WPM) is required.
  • Remote Work Setup: Must have reliable, high-speed internet access and a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions to perform job duties effectively from home.
  • Georgia Residency: Must reside in or near the Duluth, Georgia area to be considered for this position.
