Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end program initiatives that are technical, innovation‑focused, and aligned with arenaflex’s product strategy.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and effort‑estimation analyses for new feature concepts, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budget constraints.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between Product Discovery & Promotion (PDP) leaders and cross‑functional teams, turning early‑stage ideas into concrete project plans.
  • Partner with arenaflex Product Managers to align on roadmap priorities, providing proactive guidance throughout the product lifecycle—from ideation to launch.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Analytics, and Design teams to synchronize schedules, resolve dependencies, and mitigate risks.
  • Identify emerging trends, data‑driven opportunities, and performance gaps across your portfolio of initiatives, recommending enhancements that drive higher member engagement.
  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including milestones, deliverables, risk registers, and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Anticipate and plan for potential challenges related to timelines, resource allocation, and technical constraints, ensuring smooth execution of simultaneous projects.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in program or project management within a product‑focused environment, preferably in technology or media.
  • Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous, high‑level objectives into detailed, executable work streams.
  • Strong track record of establishing and maintaining program governance frameworks, including risk management, reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, facilitate cross‑cultural collaboration, and convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience with data‑driven decision making—using analytics, A/B testing results, and user research to inform program direction.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana) and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Fluency in English; Norwegian language skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth tech company or a global streaming service.
  • Background in data entry, data quality assurance, or data governance, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of product discovery processes, user‑experience research, and content recommendation algorithms.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe).
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, quickly adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on long‑term goals.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and translate insights into actionable program steps.
  • Strategic Vision: Understanding of how individual projects fit into broader business objectives and the entertainment ecosystem.
  • Collaboration: Proven teamwork across product, engineering, design, and analytics groups, fostering a culture of shared ownership.
  • Leadership: Influencing without authority, rallying diverse stakeholders around a common goal, and delivering results on time.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication, tailored to varied audiences.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with rapid change, iterative development cycles, and evolving market dynamics.
