SalesForce (SFDC) Developer - With Agentforce AI

Job Title: Sr. Salesforce Developer (AI/LLM Focus) Location: Remote Duration: Contract (1+ Year) Role Overview: We are seeking a Salesforce Architect with strong hands-on development expertise and experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications. This role will focus on designing scalable Salesforce solutions while enabling intelligent automation using modern AI technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools like MuleSoft.
- Build scalable data processing solutions using Batch Apex, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous frameworks.
- Manage deployments and release cycles using CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Implement secure integrations with identity providers (e.g., OKTA) and external systems.
- Integrate AI capabilities within Salesforce using platforms such as Salesforce Einstein AI and external LLM APIs like OpenAI API.
- Develop AI-driven use cases such as case summarisation, email/content generation, chatbots, and knowledge automation.
- Apply prompt engineering, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for contextual AI solutions.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance in AI implementations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of Salesforce development experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, and Lightning App Builder.
- Experience with Salesforce data model, SOQL/SOSL, triggers, batch processing, and governor limits.
- Hands-on experience with integrations (REST/SOAP), MuleSoft, and data migration tools (Data Loader).
- Proficiency in web technologies: JavaScript, AJAX, AngularJS, CSS/Bootstrap.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Experience implementing SSO (e.g., OKTA).
- Working knowledge of LLMs (e.g., GPT models) and AI integration patterns.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into enterprise workflows.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, semantic search, and AI-driven automation.
- Exposure to the Salesforce AI ecosystem (Einstein AI / Einstein GPT) is highly preferred.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Certified Administrator / App Builder
- AI/ML or Salesforce Einstein certifications (Nice to have)
