Dispatcher – Trucking / Logistics [CALL THE NUMBER IN THE DESCRIPTION]
Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, mandatory weekends if requested. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Dispatcher to coordinate freight movements, communicate with drivers, and ensure on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in trucking/logistics operations, experienced working in packet and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate drivers for pickups and deliveries
- Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers
- Track routes, delays, detention, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records in dispatch/logistics software
- Resolve transportation and scheduling issues quickly
- Ensure compliance with DOT and company policies
- Assist with load planning and route optimization Requirements
- Previous experience in trucking/logistics dispatching preferred
- Knowledge of load boards and TMS systems
- Strong phone, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- English required Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hotshot operations
- Familiarity with ELD/GPS tracking systems
- Customer service experience Compensation & Benefits
- Salary will be percentage of the load booked.
