Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Flight Bookings: Assist customers with flight bookings, changes, cancellations, and other related inquiries, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide Information and Support: Provide accurate information regarding Southwest Airlines policies, procedures, and services, and offer support to customers with their travel-related queries.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency, striving for first-call resolution whenever possible.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and maintain service quality and compliance standards.
  • Adhere to Company Guidelines: Adhere to company guidelines and procedures to maintain service quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer Navigation: Proficiency in computer navigation and typing skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a dedicated home office space and a reliable internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airline Industry Experience: Previous experience in the airline industry or a related field is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in a second language is preferred but not required.
