Building the Future of Healthcare Infrastructure Modernizing Mission-Critical Healthcare Transactions Stedi is seeking an Associate General Counsel to help shape the legal foundation of the first new healthcare clearinghouse in decades. As the second attorney on a lean, high-performing team, this role offers broad ownership across complex legal matters in a highly regulated and rapidly evolving sector. The Associate General Counsel will partner closely with the Head of Legal and collaborate with company leadership and teams across the business. Responsibilities include managing customer and vendor contracting, driving payer trading partner agreements, serving as Product Counsel for innovative engineering teams, and improving legal workflows and automation. The role requires strong healthcare experience, excellent judgment, and the ability to translate legal expertise into business strategy. Ideal candidates are bar-admitted, experienced in healthcare law (BigLaw or in-house), and comfortable navigating regulatory and commercial complexity. The position demands clear communication, high-volume work management, and the ability to create scalable processes in a fast-paced environment.
