They are seeking a remote Business Development Representative to identify and qualify local business owners, schedule introductory calls, and earn referral commissions based on client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify target businesses
  • Initiate conversations with owners
  • Qualify them based on simple criteria provided
  • Register qualified prospects through the online portal

Skills

  • Existing relationships with local business owners or a demonstrated ability to build them quickly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage independent outreach activity
  • Comfortable with basic digital tools for logging and tracking prospect activity
  • Experience in real estate, insurance, mortgage, finance, or business services is a strong plus
  • Exposure to business brokerage, private equity, or M&A is highly valued but not required
  • No degree requirement — network quality and work ethic matter more than credentials
