[Remote] Maintenance Solutions Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Maintenance Solutions Consultant who is eager to learn and grow within the company. The role involves developing mechanical project solutions for customers, maintaining client relationships, and providing cost-effective solutions to customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Mining for new accounts
• Developing mechanical project solutions for customers
• Maintaining existing client relationships
• Following through with each client and opportunity
• Appraising and surveying mechanical systems
• Understanding prospects' needs and problems
• Determining repair, modification, and/or replacement requirements
• Interpreting drawings, equipment, and job conditions
• Estimating the cost of proposed repair/modification/replacement
• Applying company pricing standards to estimates
• Increasing existing customers' perception of and use of the company's services
• Offering products to improve customer's facility
• Identifying prospects in assigned markets
• Promptly following up on leads and referrals
• Establishing customer rapport and identifying needs
• Maintaining an active backlog of quotes
• Promptly addressing customer concerns to assure resolution of problems

Skills

• Prior mechanical HVAC technical experience is required
• 2-5+ years' experience in HVAC commercial service or related field
• Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment
• Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude
• Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for consulting proposals
• Experience in developing technical and cost proposals
• Independent decision-making is required
• Computer skills using MS Office required
• Excel skills are required
• Competitive nature, articulate, goal-oriented, ambitious, and high energy
