Your work will directly support arenaflex’s ability to deliver seamless HR services, compliance reporting, and analytics that drive organizational success.

Role Summary

This is a temporary, four‑month contract position designed to cover a maternity leave from mid‑September through early January. You will work approximately 30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling between 7 AM and 6 PM CST. The role can be performed remotely or on‑site at our Kansas City office, depending on your preference and the needs of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain master data records across multiple HR and finance systems with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Set up new internal business data entities and modify existing ones in accordance with established governance policies.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile form‑derived data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing information.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, IT, and other functional teams to investigate and resolve data errors.
  • Develop and document new master data processes, ensuring they align with compliance standards and best practices.
  • Perform routine data quality audits and generate reports that highlight trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in training end‑users on data entry standards and system navigation to promote consistent data capture.
  • Support ad‑hoc data‑related projects, such as system migrations, data cleansing initiatives, and integration testing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business administration, information systems, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands‑on data entry or data maintenance experience, preferably within a customer service, sales, accounting, IT, or business environment.
  • Detail Orientation: Proven ability to work with large volumes of data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to spot patterns, detect anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with data‑entry platforms or ERP systems.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or payroll platforms such as Workday, ADP, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
  • Exposure to data‑validation tools, scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python), or basic SQL queries.
  • Prior involvement in process‑improvement initiatives or Lean/Six‑Sigma projects.
  • Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or related professional credentials.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Accuracy & Precision: Commitment to error‑free data entry and verification.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to investigate root causes of data discrepancies and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating evolving systems, processes, and business requirements.
  • Confidentiality: Respect for privacy and adherence to data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
