Position Overview – Remote Data Entry & Patient Enrollment Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter patient enrollment information, prescription details, and medication data into arenaflex’s secure electronic health record (EHR) system in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Process refill and “top‑off” orders, ensuring all required fields are completed and any missing data is identified and resolved.
  • Interpret and translate pharmacy abbreviations, SIG codes, and other clinical shorthand to maintain data integrity.
  • Handle inbound patient communications (phone calls, messages, and online chats) and provide clear, courteous responses to inquiries about prescriptions, refills, and enrollment status.
  • Initiate outbound calls to prescribers, guarantors, and patients when additional information or authorization is needed to complete a transaction.
  • Investigate and resolve “exception” cases—such as insurance denials, missing documentation, or mismatched patient records—by gathering required data and resubmitting requests according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with on‑site and remote pharmacists, providing them with timely data support and escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary.

Essential Qualifications
