Position Overview careerzynith is seeking a dedicated Remote Healthcare Data Entry & Virtual Assistant to support our nationwide clinical operations. This full‑time role blends meticulous data management with patient‑focused virtual assistance, ensuring that every interaction is documented accurately and every patient receives the guidance they need—no matter where they are located. As a remote team member, you will work from the comfort of your home while staying closely connected to our clinical staff, administrative leaders, and technology platforms. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our electronic health records (EHR), coordinating appointments, and delivering health‑education resources to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Data Management

  • Enter, verify, and update patient information in careerzynith’s EHR system with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process lab results, vaccination records, and medication histories, ensuring they are correctly linked to each patient’s chart.
  • Conduct regular audits of data entries to identify and correct discrepancies, adhering to HIPAA and internal compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to resolve data‑related queries promptly.

Virtual Patient Assistance

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients reaching out via phone, email, or secure chat, providing timely information on appointments, test results, and health‑screening programs.
  • Guide patients through the use of careerzynith’s online portal, helping them schedule visits, complete pre‑visit questionnaires, and access educational materials.
  • Deliver evidence‑based health counseling on topics such as preventive care, chronic disease management, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Facilitate follow‑up communications after visits, ensuring patients understand discharge instructions and next‑step recommendations.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with opening and closing virtual clinic workflows, including inventory checks for medical supplies shipped to home‑care kits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized digital workspace, ensuring all patient interactions are logged and documented according to careerzynith protocols.
  • Support billing and insurance verification processes by providing accurate data to the finance team.
  • Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, offering insights from a data‑entry perspective to enhance patient outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of

two years of relevant experience in health‑care data entry, medical administration, or a similar remote support role.

  • Successful completion of a

Specimen Collection Certification within the first 30 days of employment (or equivalent internal training).

  • Current

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including proficiency in CPR and AED operation.

  • Demonstrated ability to pass a FIT (Fit Testing) assessment and correctly wear a respirator mask when required.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) is highly desirable to serve our diverse patient population.
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with EHR platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and secure communication tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate tone suited for patient interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience (up to one year) as a certified medical provider (e.g., Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse) within a retail health setting.
  • Completion of a graduate‑level Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program, with active state licensure.
