Sometimes it’ll be news articles or long-form editorial text; sometimes it’ll be online recorded interviews; video podcasts; it may be PowerPoint decks; sometimes “five question”-type interviews. Strong experience reaching sources and developing a beat are essential. Business journalism at a newspaper or other media company is also critical.
