Fully-Remote PT HR Generalist Role We are looking for an experienced HR generalist at our law firm with excellent communication skills. Candidates must have experience successfully building and implementing effective policies, systems, and procedures for people management aligned to state and federal laws. Candidates need to have a record of building positive and engaged people cultures through... deliberate strategies that recruit, develop, and retain stellar team members. Experiences supervising and supporting remote team members is a must. This is a part time position with the hours intended to have some flexibility. We probably need 8 hours per week to start. When new employees are hired or onboarded, this position will be part of the onboarding team and probably have extra hours. You desire generous base pay and performance-based bonuses commensurate with your knowledge and effort. Responsibilities ? Ensure compliance with labor regulations ? Assist in development, auditing, and implementation of human resource policies; ensure the employee handbook is acknowledged by all employees as updated ? Maintain secure employee files and records in compliance with federal and state requirements ? Administer, evaluate, and review compensation and benefit plans ? Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes ? Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives ? Collect weekly KPIs; develop and facilitate a quarterly performance management system built around KPIs ? Guide leadership through employee performance interventions, from verbal warnings to termination, using progressive discipline when appropriate ? Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise ? Promote proactive programs that create an efficient, healthy, and conflict-free workplace ? Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities

Qualifications

Education and Experience ? BA or BS in business administration or related field is preferred ? Demonstrated record of success in a wide variety of HR roles suitable to build generalist capabilities; proven experience as an HR generalist is a plus ? Understanding of human resource policies and procedures with a working knowledge of employment/labor laws and best practices; HR certifications through SHRM or HRCI is a plus Compensation $35/hour To Apply ?
