Our client is seeking a highly competent and diligent Remote Insurance Claims Adjuster to manage claims from initiation to resolution. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to work from home while serving clients across the region, with a focus on operations originating from Austin, Texas, US . The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for investigating insurance claims, determining coverage, assessing damages, and negotiating settlements in a fair and timely manner. This involves meticulously reviewing policy documents, gathering evidence, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and inspecting damaged property. Key responsibilities include accurately documenting all aspects of a claim, maintaining detailed case files, and utilizing claims management software effectively. You will communicate clearly and empathetically with policyholders, providing updates on claim status and explaining coverage decisions. The Remote Insurance Claims Adjuster must be adept at evaluating complex claims, identifying potential fraud, and making sound judgments based on policy terms and evidence. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the company's integrity is paramount. A valid state adjusters license is typically required or must be obtained. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an insurance claims adjuster. Possession of a valid state Adjuster's License (or willingness to obtain). Thorough knowledge of insurance policies, claims investigation, and settlement procedures. Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
