Remote IT Help Desk and PC Support Technician Salary: $27,040 - 27,040 per year At Business Staffing Solution we are looking for a Support engineer! ️ Our tech stack: Active Directory, Hardware, Support, LAN, Security, ServiceNow, TCP/IP, Windows Rquirements: - Experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or PC Support is advantageous. - Proficient in troubleshooting software, desktop, and hardware-related issues. - Familiarity with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Remote Desktop. - Knowledge of Active Directory for managing user accounts and permissions. - Basic understanding of networking principles and IT best practices. - Experience with Windows operating systems support. - Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow is a plus. - Skilled in disk imaging, PC upgrades, and peripheral support. - Excellent communication abilities in both verbal and written forms. - Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred. - IT Technician or related certifications are beneficial. - Must possess a dependable personal vehicle for work-related travel. - Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written). Your responsibilities are: - Provide first-line technical assistance for software, desktop, and hardware issues. - Offer remote support using tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Remote Desktop. - Set up, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, monitors, RAM, HDD/SSD, and peripherals. - Execute disk imaging and system cloning tasks. - Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions via Active Directory. - Monitor, update, and resolve support tickets through ServiceNow or similar platforms. - Troubleshoot issues with Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10/11). - Support end-user workstations connected to a Microsoft Windows-based local area network (LAN) utilizing TCP/IP. - Analyze user issues, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions. - Install software, security updates, and patches as needed. - Maintain records of procedures, repairs, and troubleshooting methodologies. - Travel to customer locations across Puerto Rico to deliver on-site technical support.
