Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)
About this Role: Wander is a growing fast-paced startup, hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. You will work remotely as a member of the Accounting Team managing our AP processes and credit card transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payment processing while maintaining strong financial controls. What You'll Do: Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements Manage vendor relationships and maintain accurate vendor records Reconcile credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing procedures Assist with audits and financial reporting as needed Requirements: Ability to work on a schedule of Monday-Friday 9-5 EST Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite (Mail, Sheets, Drive, etc) Autonomous Have a laptop Have internet access at home (this job is remote) Interest in long-term employment and career growth at a high growth tight-knit company Apply Job!
