You will work closely with pharmacists, clinical specialists, and payer partners to drive consistency, improve financial performance, and support the delivery of high‑quality patient care—all from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform direct patient care programs, including medication therapy management (MTM) initiatives, vaccination administration tracking, and payer‑pharma adherence projects.
  • Execute data entry and validation tasks for prescription records, clinical notes, and pharmacy‑related documentation, adhering to FDA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy regulations.
  • Analyze workflow processes, identify gaps, and implement continuous‑improvement strategies to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Support regional pharmacy compliance by monitoring standard operating procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, and conducting regular audits.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive pharmacy financial performance, including revenue cycle optimization and cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to pharmacy staff on data entry best practices, system usage, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of pharmacy industry trends, emerging technologies, and licensing requirements across all states of operation.
  • Deliver personalized patient and provider communication, addressing medication‑related inquiries, clarifying prescription details, and offering clinical counseling when appropriate.
  • Participate in quality‑assurance activities, such as medication safety audits, data integrity checks, and corrective action planning.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time for on‑site training sessions, regional meetings, or compliance inspections, as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Active pharmacy technician license (or equivalent) issued by the appropriate state board.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy data entry, medication therapy management, or a similar clinical support role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with pharmacy management systems (e.g., RxConnect, PioneerRx, or similar).
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information clearly.
  • Organizational Ability: Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proven track record of identifying process inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Customer Service: Experience delivering high‑quality support to internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Additional state pharmacy licenses or willingness to obtain them.
  • Knowledge of health‑plan benefits and insurance verification processes.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) platforms and data integration tools.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macro creation.
  • Familiarity with data‑visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Previous remote work experience with a proven ability to stay productive and engaged.
  • Certification in medication therapy management (CMTM) or related clinical programs.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data trends, assess risk, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Integrity & Ethics: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in a matrixed environment, building relationships across pharmacy, clinical, and payer teams.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating changing priorities, new technologies, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
