Responsibilities
- Acts as a foundational leader in scaling the firm’s tax function post-acquisition
- Balances hands-on tax execution with strategic growth and process development
- Partners directly with ownership to drive revenue growth and client expansion
- Plays a key role in building infrastructure, team, and long-term operational strategy
- Helps shape the future state of the organization as it grows from a small team to a scaled platform
Skills
- Active CPA license with strong technical expertise in tax, non-negotiable
- 5–7+ years of experience within public accounting or tax-focused environments
- Proven ability to both execute hands-on work and operate at a strategic level
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in ownership, equity, and long-term growth
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build relationships and drive business
- Arizona preferred but not required
