[Remote] Computer Systems Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join their team in defining the future within the Global Supply Chain SAP environment. This role involves gathering user requirements, developing solutions, and supporting the Level 2 ERP help desk for SAP questions while collaborating with business partners to improve existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze and document user requirements, procedures, and/or problems to improve existing systems
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop solutions and correct system deficiencies
  • Test solutions to ensure optimal system functionality
  • Monitor integrated system interfaces for errors and address as necessary
  • Draft & publish instructional materials and provide system training
  • Directly support resolution of all software related problems with the purchasing à transportation interfaces
  • Support suppliers with the OASIS portal and all associated vendor applications

Skills

  • Master's degree preferred in Business Management, Information Technology, Global Supply Chain OR Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors
  • Willing and able to travel on short notice
  • Willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends and shutdown) when necessary
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the following basic areas: Supply Chain, Operations, Visibility
  • Computer Science or Technical Degree
  • Knowledge of the Costpoint ERP solution
  • Demonstrated success in developing cross functional teams
  • Understanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations
  • PMP, APICS, CPSM or CSCP certification
