They are seeking an early career A/AI Machine Learning Engineer to lead the AI Consulting portfolio, which involves developing and deploying AI solutions that drive business value across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of AI solutions that can drive business value and innovation across the Lockheed Martin enterprise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes
  • Utilize technical expertise in software engineering and AI/ML to solve complex problems

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience building machine learning models by way of work, projects, courses, etc
  • Experience with developing software and software engineering best practices, specifically python
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Expertise in natural language processing
  • Expertise applying deep learning, especially CNNs, RNNS, LSTMs, and reinforcement learning
  • Experience with integration of data products into customer applications
  • Experience with or knowledge of data engineering
  • Experience with or knowledge of AWS or other cloud providers
  • Experience with or expertise in manufacturing and/or engineering processes
  • Story-telling and data visualization
  • Proficiency in Python

  • Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
  • Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site.
  • Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
  • Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
