[Remote] Product Owner / Business Analyst

Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. They are seeking a Software Development Lead Associate to support the Fraud and Prevention Services program, focusing on modernizing the edits ingestion pipeline and developing ETL solutions within an AWS cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to modernize the edits ingestion pipeline, leveraging Java, Python, and Big Data technologies within an AWS cloud environment
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions
- Working with core AWS services
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience developing, testing, and supporting ETL processes
- Proficiency in Java and J2EE architecture, including frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience working with Snowflake technologies and data warehouses
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda and API Gateway
- Background in backend development with a focus on building scalable, secure server‑side applications
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal development teams and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies
- Must have US Citizenship or Must have been a resident of the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years
- Must have ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience in healthcare industry analytics and data, preferably Medicare or Medicaid
- Data Science experience and Programming languages: Python or R
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Test Rails
