[Remote] Sr. Business Analyst - Cloud Expertise
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology and mission services to government agencies. They are currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the PACER Modernization Program, focusing on IT system functional analysis and cloud modernization projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross- functional requirements
- Document, design, and handle complicated business rules for processing operational and user data
- Track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives
- Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships
- Identifies resources required for each task
Skills
- Minimum of ten years' experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized in IT system functional analysis, preferably in Cloud Modernization projects
- Must possess superior functional knowledge of task order specific requirements and have experience in developing functional requirements for complex integrated IT systems
- Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross- functional requirements
- Document, design, and handle complicated business rules for processing operational and user data
- Track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives
- Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task
- Must have a BS in an IT related field
- Experience in Mainframe Business Process Re-engineering
- Experience in zCloud and AWS Cloud Modernization
- Experience in Agile Methodology to track requirements, development, and testing using Jira and facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives
- Knowledge in Business Process Automation (BPA) tools, BPMN, CMN and DMN models
- Knowledge in leveraging Generative AI to document Business Rules and Requirements
- Knowledge in multiple database technologies like DB2, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc
