[Remote] Sales Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CyberMaxx is a company focused on defending against cyberattacks through a unique approach to Managed Detection & Response (MDR). They are seeking a Sales Engineer who will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to engage with potential customers and grow business opportunities while showcasing the value of cybersecurity technologies.
Responsibilities
- Actively work alongside the Sales and Account Executive team members throughout the sales process by participating in business development calls and meetings with prospects and current customers
- Strategically analyze client's needs in great detail in order to design, present, and demonstrate the appropriate Information Security solutions throughout the sales cycle
- Demonstrate CyberMaxx solutions to prospects, customers and partners
- Assist the Sales team in reviewing and scoping solutions for proposals
- Promptly respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP’s)
- Work in partnership with the Sales organization in order to successfully meet quota objectives set by the region
- Work with industry partners to stay current with relevant technologies and promote mutual technological selling strategies
- Provide consultative value to prospects regarding use of people, processes, and technology
- Consistently maintain and build upon technical advisor relationships
Skills
- 5+ years of applicable network security and information security experience
- 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role
- Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape
- Highly motivated self-starter that does not require day-to-day management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, and rapidly changing environment
- Experience presenting and engaging with audiences ranging from the End-User to C-Level Executives
- Customer Service Focus
- Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to effectively relate to, and connect with, customers working in technical and business roles
- Ability to drive results while working from office or home
- Ability to travel 20% of the year
- Strong relationships with security experts within the region
- CISSP or other professional certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or related
- Subject matter expertise in Information Security technology verticals (e.g., NDR, SIEM, EDR, VRM, DFIR
- MDR experience
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the following areas: PCI; GLBA; SOX; HIPAA, GDPR
