[Remote] Mid-Level Mechanical Designer (LSNA-US Remote)

They are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer who will perform mechanical design assignments, create HVAC and plumbing designs, and coordinate with other professionals on projects for major industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform mechanical design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problems
- Create HVAC and Plumbing designs for construction
- Gather existing HVAC and Plumbing conditions and during construction
- Coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management
Skills
- Associates Degree in a related technical discipline is highly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience of practical application experience of mechanical design, including HVAC load and plumbing calculations, equipment selections, and ductwork and plumbing system designs related to building systems
- Proficient working knowledge of Revit software
- General working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes
- An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
- Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
