[Remote] User Experience Designer | Customer Retention & Loyalty | MN
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dahl Consulting is partnering with a leading national retailer to identify a User Experience (UX) Designer focused on customer retention and loyalty. The UX Designer will enhance customer experiences by designing user flows and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intuitive digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs across web and mobile platforms
- Contributing to discovery, concept development, validation, and delivery across the product lifecycle
- Identifying opportunities to improve existing experiences and support new feature development
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align priorities and deliver high-impact customer experiences
- Participating in UX critiques and design workshops to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to design systems
- Applying research insights and data to inform design decisions and recommendations
- Exploring and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance workflows and identify experience improvements
- Ensuring designs align with accessibility standards and best practices
Skills
- 5+ years of experience designing customer-facing digital products, preferably within eCommerce, retail, transactional, account management, or service-based experiences
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, and end-to-end product design lifecycle work
- Experience designing and improving web and mobile experiences
- Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern design tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional, agile environments alongside Product and Engineering teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights
- Experience working within established design systems and accessibility standards
- Comfort leveraging emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve design efficiency and outcomes
- Experience designing retail or eCommerce experiences related to replenishment, subscriptions, loyalty programs, or returns
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and iterative optimization
- Experience designing for responsive platforms, including web, iOS, and Android
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Ability to balance user experience goals with technical, operational, and business constraints
