Senior Recruiter

Remote · USA Full-time New today

Omniscient is an organic growth agency that builds revenue-focused organic growth systems for B2B software companies — optimized for both search engines and generative AI. We pride ourselves on being lean, agile, and experimental. Our team thrives on R&D and innovation, always exploring the smartest ways to deliver exceptional results. We believe in a culture of building and shipping — whether it’s client deliverables, new services, or internal tools that keep us ahead of the game. If you’re looking for a role where you’ll tackle challenging problems, work with ambitious brands, and help shape the future of organic growth, let’s talk. Learn about the principles that drive how we work and build a company. About this role You'll own how Omniscient hires. As we scale the team and launch new service lines, the people we bring in shape the company we become, and you'll be the person responsible for finding them, qualifying them, and closing them. This is a full-cycle role: you own each search from first outreach to signed offer. This is not a coordination job. You won't wait for applicants to roll in or for someone else to define the search. You'll source proactively, build qualified pipelines from scratch, run screens, partner with hiring managers as an equal, and close the candidates we want. You'll own our Ashby instance and the entire recruiting process, and you'll improve both as you go. You're the only recruiter, so you own every req across the company and the judgment that comes with it. You'll report to our Head of People and work directly with hiring managers across Strategy, Editorial, Operations, and Sales. The right person becomes the engine of how Omniscient grows, and has a clear path to building and leading a talent function over time. Your responsibilities Own full-cycle recruiting for every open role, from defining the search to a signed offer, across all departments at once. Source proactively. Build a network of passive candidates and develop a sourcing strategy for each role rather than waiting for inbound. Write fantastic job postings, and recommend changes when the wrong candidates are coming through. Screen, interview, and keep candidates moving. Run phone pre-screens, coordinate interviews, and follow up with everyone. Close candidates. Sell the role, manage comp, and navigate counteroffers and cold feet. Partner with hiring managers to prioritize needs, push back on unrealistic criteria, and build a seamless interview process. Own our Ashby instance and recruiting data. Keep the funnel accurate and build out new and existing processes as you go. Track weekly and monthly recruiting metrics, and maintain dashboards that give real-time visibility into pipeline health and hiring performance. Surface insights from the data and flag at-risk searches early, serving as the go-to resource for recruiting reporting. Who you are You have senior, full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a fast-paced marketing or creative agency with many reqs. You're a proactive sourcer first. You can describe exactly how you find people who aren't applying, and you have the hires to prove it. You've closed candidates yourself: comp conversations, counteroffers, and talking someone back in when they got cold feet. You've run multiple searches at once and can explain the system that kept them all moving. You've actually administered Ashby (or a similar ATS like Greenhouse or Lever), not just clicked through it. You're meticulous and detail-obsessed. Dropped candidates and messy pipelines are unacceptable to you. (the passcode is CLOSER2026) You partner with hiring managers rather than taking orders. You'll tell them when their criteria don't add up, and be right often enough that they trust you. You're autonomous. You don't wait to be told what to do, and you communicate proactively about where things stand. You write and speak English fluently, enough to run closing conversations with senior candidates. You're not an asshole. We spend our days with teammates and clients, and there's no room for them. You're friendly, take ownership, and love working as a team. Working hours We require work hours to overlap at least 4 hours with US Eastern Time so you can coordinate with hiring managers and run candidate conversations across our team. Why work with us We're here to help you do great work and grow personally and professionally. You'll have a massive impact on a growing company, owning the entire recruiting function as our only recruiter with a clear path to building and leading a talent team over time. We'll coach you toward becoming world-class at recruiting, and give you the room to grow your skills, confidence, and career. Competitive pay, plus quarterly profit share after one year Medical, dental, and vision insurance (US-based) 401k with employer match (US-based) 100% remote flexibility and flexible time off Learning and development budget Free books program Annual company offsites We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But there’s no such thing as a "perfect" candidate. Omniscient Digital is a place where everyone can grow. However you identify and whatever background you bring, please apply if the idea of this role excites you. Omniscient Digital is an equal opportunity employer. We ensure equal opportunity, and all candidates are considered without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics. ___ By submitting your application, you agree that Omniscient Digital may collect your personal data for recruiting, global organization planning, and related purposes.
