The Opportunity FICO is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Engineer with strong enterprise CRM and business analysis skills, a strategic thinker and systems expert who can partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, and then translate those needs into effective, scalable Salesforce solutions. As part of a collaborative, matrixed team, you'll work within the Scrum framework to deliver business needs in an agile environment, help drive go-to-market efficiency across our growing B2B Scores business, and ensure Salesforce is an enabler of process excellence. What You’ll Contribute Partner with cross-department business stakeholders to support process and system improvements, leveraging existing enterprise-wide systems (e. g., Oracle, Snowflake, Conga CLM) and sales tools like Pardot (MCAE). Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deeply understand, document, and communicate business processes and requirements in a clear, well-organized manner, as well as support end-user training and enablement programs. Gather and translate business requirements into well-architected declarative solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform within FICO's technical landscape and build proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new solutions and streamlined business processes. Advise stakeholders on the feasibility, user experience, and business impact of proposed solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert on FICO Salesforce Sales solutions and data integrations, influencing system design and integration approaches. Design, build, and maintain high-quality custom solutions, upholding development best practices including peer code reviews, unit testing standards, and adherence to Salesforce governor limits. Design and manage the execution of system and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality solution delivery. Manage project execution including project planning, communication, issue resolution, and change management. Drive adoption of new technology and process changes in partnership with regional and global operations teams. What We’re Seeking Proven Salesforce development experience in an enterprise environment with deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce APIs and core Sales Cloud principles: Opportunity Management, Account and Contact Management, Lead Management, Reporting, and Dashboards. Experience in large-scale CRM transformation programs or enterprise Salesforce environments (Required) with Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Required), and Platform Developer II (Strongly Preferred). Strong proficiency designing and implementing Salesforce Flows and automation tools to streamline processes, as well as hands-on experience designing and building on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Enterprise or Unlimited editions. Prior experience gathering and translating business requirements into system design, with the proven ability to lead discussions and meetings across both technical and business stakeholders, preferably within a technology consulting firm or fast-growing technology company. Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations, connecting Salesforce to third-party enterprise systems such as Oracle, Snowflake, or middleware platforms, as well as familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, source-driven development (Salesforce DX / Git), change sets, and sandbox management. Experience managing user roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and maintaining data security and integrity. Knowledge of data governance, internal controls, process compliance, and permission security. Exposure to or hands-on experience with Salesforce Einstein AI capabilities (including Einstein Lead Scoring, Einstein Opportunity Insights, Einstein for Service or Einstein Analytics/CRM Analytics), agentic AI features within Salesforce (such as Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, or Prompt Builder), and the ability to design extensible solutions that leverage these capabilities.
