About the Role

As a Remote Charge Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of financial integrity for our physician practices. You will receive, review, and enter charge documents into our practice management system, reconcile charge summaries, and extract critical information from medical records. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of patient care, the accuracy of billing, and the overall financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Charge Document Review: Receive and meticulously review charge documents for completeness and accuracy, collaborating with front‑office staff to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Data Entry & System Management: Accurately enter charges into the practice management system, ensuring that each entry reflects the correct procedure, diagnosis, and service date.
  • Charge Summary Reconciliation: Balance charge summaries against tickets keyed, verify totals, and finalize updates in the system before submission.
  • Medical Record Extraction: Pull essential data from operative notes, hospital admissions, consults, progress notes, and discharge summaries to guarantee comprehensive and error‑free charge entries.
