UI / UX Designer - remote / work from home - EST hours
UI/UX Designer – 3 month contract – remote/work from home Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a UI/UX Designer to help shape engaging and effective digital experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about both the aesthetics and functionality of user interfaces and enjoys crafting intuitive designs that deliver real value to users. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and stakeholders—to create user-centered design solutions across web and mobile platforms. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and advancing design standards while ensuring seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for a range of web and mobile applications, focusing on usability and user satisfaction.
- Translate business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Develop interactive prototypes and mockups for stakeholder presentations and usability testing.
- Collaborate across departments to gather input, share feedback, and iterate on design solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for UX/UI best practices, standards, and innovative approaches.
- Participate in improving design workflows and processes across teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience owning design and working independently as a UX/UI Designer
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, mock-up creation, and designing user flows.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and responsive design techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with HTML and CSS.
- Background in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research .
