Job Description Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Pharmacy Technician within a Long-Term Care (LTC) and Mail Order pharmacy environment. The position is contracted for 13 weeks with the potential for direct hire. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, mid shift from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with some Saturdays required from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role is located in Waukesha, WI. Key Responsibilities include: Accurately filling prescriptions and preparing IV admixtures under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Assisting in the prepackaging of medications for dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer systems for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement. Supporting the Pharmacist by verifying prescriptions and coordinating packaging and delivery. Helping maintain inventory by receiving shipments, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts. Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment by working with the Technician Supervisor to check equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Pharmacy Technician experience is required. IV compounding experience is strongly preferred. Must hold a valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license.
