This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping clients navigate the tax filing process while building professional relationships within their communities. Training and support are available for qualified candidates. Tax Preparers will assist clients with tax preparation, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service while following IRS guidelines and company procedures Duties
- Prepare and electronically file individual tax returns
- Review client documents for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct client interviews to gather tax information
- Explain tax filing requirements, credits, and deductions to clients
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Develop and maintain professional client relationships
- Promote tax preparation services through referrals, networking, and community engagement
- Follow IRS guidelines and company compliance procedures
- Protect confidential client information
- Provide professional and timely customer service
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- PTIN required or willingness to obtain before preparing returns
- Tax preparation experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Reliable internet connection for remote work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to complete training and follow established procedures

Compensation
Independent Contractors are compensated based on completed tax returns and related services performed. Compensation varies based on productivity, client volume, and return complexity.
