Position Overview: Remote Customer Manager

We are hiring a Remote Customer Manager to join our expanding client services and sales division. In this role, you will be the trusted point of contact for individuals and families seeking life insurance solutions, guiding them through product options, helping them understand coverage needs, and building long-term relationships that extend well beyond the initial sale. This is a commission-plus-bonus, performance-based position with uncapped earning potential, designed for self-starters who are energized by helping others and motivated by the direct connection between effort and reward.

You will work entirely from your home office, connecting with clients virtually through phone, video conferencing (Zoom), and digital communication channels. All interviews, onboarding, training, and team meetings are conducted remotely, allowing you to focus your energy on what you do best: building relationships, solving problems, and making a tangible difference in the financial security of the people you serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build genuine, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the insurance selection and onboarding process.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough consultations to understand each client's unique financial situation, family dynamics, long-term goals, and coverage requirements before recommending appropriate life insurance products.
  • Product Guidance: Clearly explain the features, benefits, terms, and pricing of various life insurance options, empowering clients to make informed decisions that align with their needs and budgets.
  • Virtual Consultations: Conduct all client meetings and internal team interactions via Zoom video conferencing and other approved remote communication platforms, maintaining a professional and engaging virtual presence.
  • Problem Solving: Address client questions, concerns, and objections with empathy, clarity, and confidence, thinking on your feet to find creative solutions when standard approaches do not apply.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized book of business, track follow-ups, and consistently nurture leads through the sales cycle to maximize conversion and retention.
  • Compliance and Licensing: Adhere to all provincial, state, and federal regulations governing life insurance sales, maintaining active licensure and completing required continuing education.
  • Performance Excellence: Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and customer satisfaction benchmarks, contributing to the overall growth and reputation of arenaflex.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided by arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • Life Insurance License: You must hold an active life insurance license in your province or state of residence. If you are not yet licensed, arenaflex offers a discounted pre-licensing course to help you get started.
  • Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in one of the following Canadian provinces: British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), Saskatchewan (SK), Manitoba (MB), Ontario (ON), or Newfoundland and Labrador (NL). Alternatively, candidates may reside in the U.S. states of California (CA), Washington (WA), or Virginia (VA). This residency requirement exists for licensing and regulatory purposes.
  • Exceptional People Skills: A natural ability to connect with others, listen actively, and communicate with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: The ability to think on your feet, adapt quickly to new information, and find solutions in evolving situations.
  • Self-Motivation and Discipline: Comfort and effectiveness working independently in a remote environment without daily in-person supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, client relations, or insurance (life insurance experience is a strong plus, but not required).
  • Existing network of professional contacts and referral sources.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a strong asset.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets in previous roles.
