The Project Manager / Scrum Master is responsible for leading Agile projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders while managing project scope, budget, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Project Manager/Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, ensuring they follow Agile principles and practices
  • Lead and manage either one or multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables based on the SOW (Statement of Work). Create a detailed project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and key dependencies
  • Maintain and manage a Project Budget Tracker/Burn Sheet to ensure allocated budget is not exceeded
  • Assemble project teams, assign tasks, and manage resources. Foster collaboration and communication among team members
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Implement quality control processes
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Highlight key milestones, issues, and risks

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in project management
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Project Manager
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Experience in conducting quality reviews and implementing corrective actions
  • Project management software knowledge such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, etc
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and best practices
  • Scrum Master Skills: In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum principles
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Project Leadership skills: Provide guidance and support to ensure successful project execution
  • Stakeholder Management: Skill in managing stakeholder expectations and addressing their needs
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations, while directing QA Lead
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and disputes within project teams or with stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Address project issues and challenges with innovative solutions
  • Escalation Management: Manage proper internal communication to Argano leadership team and stakeholders, ensuring appropriate internal and external escalation processes are followed
  • MBA or relevant master's degree, advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in software development, IT, or technology-related projects is preferred
  • Previous experience in IT industries and with ERP and/or CRM technology platforms
