[Remote] Mid-Market Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TaxCloud is on a mission to simplify sales tax for growing ecommerce and SaaS businesses. They are seeking a driven Mid-Market Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle and help small and mid-market businesses evaluate and adopt TaxCloud's solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle — qualify leads, conduct discovery, demo the product, and close new business
- Manage a steady flow of inbound leads (and supplement with some outbound as needed)
- Guide prospects through simple and sometimes more complex evaluations, using a consultative sales approach
- Collaborate closely with leadership, product, and onboarding teams to win good fit customers and set them up for success with TaxCloud
- Learn our product, industry, and integrations (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, QuickBooks Online) inside and out
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle SaaS sales role (SMB or Mid-Market)
- A consultative, curious sales approach — you ask great questions and genuinely want to help
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to self-manage a pipeline and maintain consistent activity
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where things move quickly
- Experience selling to e-commerce or finance/operations professionals or small businesses is a plus, but not required
