About the Role: Remote Chat Support Representative at arenaflex

As a Chat Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be the digital front door of our brand. Every customer who reaches out via live chat will experience your professionalism, your patience, and your product knowledge. Your core mission is to deliver an efficient, productive, and genuinely delightful customer service experience through written communication.

Your responsibilities will be varied, dynamic, and deeply rewarding. Some of the key duties include:

  • Handling Live Chat Conversations: Responding to a high volume of customer inquiries in real time across multiple chat sessions simultaneously, maintaining a calm and professional tone even during peak hours.
  • Product Information & Guidance: Helping customers understand our catalog of kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and interior solutions. You will answer questions about materials, finishes, dimensions, SKUs, hardware, and styling recommendations.
  • Shipping & Damage Claims: Processing and tracking shipping damage claims, coordinating with logistics partners, and walking customers through the resolution process with empathy and clarity.
  • Order Status Updates: Investigating order records, providing accurate updates, and proactively communicating any delays or changes that affect the customer experience.
  • Vendor & Internal Communications: Acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams such as warehouse operations, design consultants, and accounting to resolve inquiries that span multiple departments.
  • Pricing Calculations: Generating quotes, applying discounts, calculating shipping estimates, and providing transparent pricing breakdowns for both retail and professional customers.
  • Sales Support: Recognizing opportunities where a customer service interaction can grow into a sales opportunity, and guiding the customer toward the right products for their project.
  • Documentation & Follow-Up: Recording customer interactions accurately in our CRM system, flagging recurring issues, and following up to ensure complete resolution.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Typing Proficiency: Fast and accurate typing skills are essential. You will be expected to handle multiple chat sessions at once, so speed matters.
  • English Fluency: Excellent written and spoken English. Your grammar, spelling, and tone will shape every customer’s impression of arenaflex.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Customer-First Attitude: A genuine passion for helping people and a professional, patient demeanor in every interaction.
  • Residency: Must currently reside in Florida or Texas, or be willing to relocate to one of these states.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of customer service experience, ideally in a chat-based, e-commerce, retail, or home improvement environment.
  • Familiarity with kitchen and bath products, cabinetry, interior design, or the home improvement industry.
  • Previous remote work experience with demonstrated self-management skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, live chat software, or ticketing systems.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a strong plus, given the diversity of our customer base in Florida and Texas.
